Website Copy: Marsley Forwarding

The Brief:

Marsley Forwarding provides professional logistics for small and medium-sized businesses. The Wakefield-based company offers international shipping, courier and custom services for shipments anywhere in the world.

The company needed a new website and the business owner also wanted advice on how best to get across its marketing messages.

The Project:

I started the project by running a workshop with the business owner to help them plan the content for their website. The workshop defined the company’s ideal customers, analysed the key marketing messages, reviewed local competitors and identified the page structure for the new website.

After agreeing on the approach for the website copy, I researched, drafted and edited all the pages for the website. The content included SEO meta titles and descriptions to help improve the company’s position in search results.

The Client:

“After a recommendation from my website designer, I contacted Rob. My old website was somewhat dated and didn’t show enough about how we help our customers. But I was unsure how to create the right content for a new website.
