Every case study I write starts with an interview with your customer.

This lets me listen to their experience of working with you. So I can put your customer’s own words at the heart of your case study.

From the challenges they had and what you did. To the difference you made and why this matters to your customer.

The final case study is also reviewed by you and your customer.

My proven 5-step copywriting process for case studies

1) Research

The first step is to find out how you plan to use case studies in your marketing. Then, I’ll plan how to approach your content to help you achieve your goals.

The research also includes a call with your customer’s account or sales manager so I can learn more about your relationship with your customer.

2) Interview

Once you’ve introduced me to your customer, I’ll contact them to arrange a video call. The interview takes about 30 minutes, and I’ll record it to capture your customer’s point of view and their crucial quotes.

During the conversation, I’ll ask your customer about their whole experience working with you and the measurable results.

3) Write

Using my notes and the interview transcript, I then start writing. I’ll put your customer’s words at the heart of the case study to create a positive success story.

Your case study will include why they worked with you, what problems they wanted to fix, how you helped them, what results they’ve seen and why this matters to them.

4) Review

About 7 days after the interview, you’ll get the first draft to review. You’ll also receive a video to explain my approach to your case study and a checklist to help you with the review process.

After making any changes, I’ll create a revised version for your customer. You can choose to manage your customer’s review, or I’ll do this for you.

5) Deliver

After all the review comments are updated, you’ll receive a final, clean version of your case study.

You’re now ready to publish the customer success story on your website, turn it into a PDF or share it on social media.

How much does a case study cost?

A case study with about 1,000 words costs from £600. I’ll interview your customer over a Zoom video call and write an engaging success story.
